Each morning, we wait for Gianni to poop before getting him ready for school. So yesterday morning, this is what the conversation in our house sounded like:
Mom: Gianni, did you poop?
Gianni: shit (grinning widely while pointing to his diaper)
Mom: Gianni that is not a nice word. Did you poop?
Gianni: Shhhittt (again, pointing to his diaper with a huge grin on his face)
Mom: You mean poop
Gianni: shit
You’d all be proud of me because I didn’t laugh, regardless of how funny it was! I was rather proud that he knew how to use the word in context... Just KIDDING! It's not like I'm encouraging him ;-)
