Halloween weekend was a success! Gianni successfully transformed into Buzz Lightyear for three straight days!
On Friday, Gianni headed back to school to attend his classroom party. Gianni loved seeing his friends in their costumes and I enjoyed meeting the other parents (I especially enjoyed meeting Ruby… Gianni’s girlfriend… I’ll save that story for another post J ).
On Saturday, we went to Uncle Gregor’s country club for their children’s party. We had Buzz Lightyear, Elmo (Jack) and a Bumble Bee (Brody). The boys had such a great time running around on the greens and then danced the night away to the DJ!
On Sunday, we trick-or-treated with everyone in Lincoln Park. This time, there were 2 Buzz Lightyear’s (Gianni and Andrew) and we even had Rex (James). Gianni quickly became a pro at climbing the steps of the mc mansions, saying ‘trick-or-treat’ and ‘thank you’. He was so excited that each time he would run to me, showing me what he received and would say ‘Mommy! Look!!’.
This morning, Gianni walked through the house with his pumpkin saying ‘trick-or-treat’. He’s no fool! If he knows that’s all he needs to do to receive candy, he’s going to do it!
