Philly Trip = Success!

Our trip to Philadelphia (Doylestown to be exact), was a success!  Gianni did wonderful with all the traveling.  We only had a few incidents:

·         Immediately after going through security at O’Hare (which was a breeze), Gianni leaked through his diaper.  Just a little trickle, thank god.

·         However, he really leaked through another diaper while sitting on the plane to Philly (Note to self – pack extra pants in carry-on)

·         The descent into Philly was not that great on anyone’s ears, so he cried/screamed for approximately 3 full minutes (which seemed like an eternity to me).

·         And lastly, we had another leaking incident immediately after going through security in Philly.  What is with security and leaky diapers?!  This time, I came prepared with extra pants!

Gianni loved his new backpack and DVD player.  He did great for not napping for a few days and absolutely loved all the attention from all the family and visitors.  He visited the Please Touch Museum, ate his first cheese steak and had real pizza!  He loved spending time with Mom-Mom, Pop-Pop and Aunt Vivian.  The only person he missed was Bob-Bob who had the flu.  So all in all, the trip was great! 

PS – Judi, are you enjoying your quiet house?!  Don’t get too comfortable… I’m sending him back for a week.  You think you can handle him?!! ;-)
