As if the movie ‘E.T.’ isn’t heart wrenching enough… We caught the last 20 minutes of the movie last night and that’s all it took for G to fall in love with E.T.. He literally started to cry, yes cry, when E.T. was saying goodbye to Elliot to go home. He was so sad that he hugged me, burying his head in my neck, and said “I don’t want him to go home”. Of course, both L and I started to cry too. 20 minutes is all it took for my 2 ½ year old to realize no one wants E.T. to go home. So sad, yet so very sweet!
