Nisachi

During Gianni’s parent/teacher conference, Ms Meghan asked us if Gianni knew his name. I responded “Yes, he calls himself Johnny or G”. She said “I think he thinks his name is Nicholas”. Knowing G, I told her that he typically says something completely opposite when you ask him to say something.

Later that night I asked Gianni what his name was. He responded “Nisachi” (sounds like Nis-ah-kye). I could see how Ms Meghan thought he was saying “Nicholas”. So don’t be surprised when you ask Gianni to say his name if he responds with Nisachi!
