A New Week…

Let’s see if Gianni can make it through 3 days of school this week in once piece.

Last week, Gianni flipped over his trike at school (see here).  This left a nice scab across his nose just in time for Thanksgiving.  The next day (Thursday), Luke received a call from school because Gianni cut his finger.  They said it was ok and that he didn’t need stitches, so we weren’t worried.  Until we saw it.  It really isn’t bad, but a fresh cut never looks good.  He was messing around with something on the bathroom stall door and cut his finger.  They knew something was wrong because they said G never cries and boy was he crying.  Basically, an inch of skin was hanging from the underside of his finger.  He’s been good about letting me clean it and bandage it, but he has been walking around the house with his right index finger straight in the air.  I swear, I should have put a splint on it!  And lastly, on Friday he fell again, but this time it didn’t leave a mark.  Ms Meghan said she just wanted to hold him all day Friday to prevent him from hurting himself!  Ha!

So, I’m keeping my fingers crossed that my rough and tough little guy makes it home in one piece this week…  We’ve got places to go J

  1. All those battle wounds will just make him tougher, but I am sure it is hard to watch him struggle and be hurt! (His noes was pretty darn cute though!)
