It’s summertime in Chicago… or it’s supposed to be! This weekend found us with temps in the 50/60’s, a light mist of rain and then some sunshine. So what do you do with a 2 ¾ year old? You take a ride on the El train! We took G on his first ‘el train’ ride this weekend and he was ecstatic! We jumped on the brown line in Lincoln Park and took a ride down to the loop and back. Each time the doors opened at the stops, G would say “We NOT getting off Mommy”. I cannot think of a better way to spend $4.50!
Sunday we hit up the Old Town Art Fair and Wells Street Art Fair. Chicken fingers, fries, funnel cake and no nap later, G was crazed! He ran around, danced and had a blast! I had to laugh with my friends as we chased our crazy boys around and held the newest members of the crew. My have times changed… Long gone are the days of 32oz vodka/lemonades J
