Over the river and through the woods…

To Bob Bob’s house we go??  Well not ‘we’ but Gianni did!
Gianni spent an extended weekend with my Dad (also known as BobBob – god forbid he be called Grandpa ;) ) over the Thanksgiving break.  We were already in Cleveland for a thunder-run home, so G left early Friday morning with my dad and didn’t come home until Monday.  He was having such a blast during his visit, that when asked to call home, that little sh!t didn’t even want to talk to us!  My dad had to force him to FaceTime with me ONCE.  I talked to him ONCE.  It actually reminded me of when we would spend time with our grandparents.  I had to try very hard not to be ‘mom’ (don’t eat this/that, say please/thank you) and just say “have so much fun”!  And fun he had.  Between a visit to a farm (tractor, deer, etc…), to a private fire station tour, to visiting the city of Pitts and attending a Browns/Steeler party where he heckled Steelers fans by telling them they “stink”!  You all can thank Luke for teaching G that one…  As you can imagine, the Steelers fans were a bit taken back by the 4 yr old who kept referring to the Steelers as the Packers (he knows quite a bit about football, just not all sorted out yet J)  He has already told me he’s going back in the summer.  If only we lived closer to family… L
Here are some shots I received from his visit.
He got to slide down the pole!

Dad said the helmet weighed 15 lbs!

He was in awe

How excited is that face?!

Gotta represent the other side of the state :)
Funny... no pictures of him in his Browns gear... hmm....

  1. SO FUN!!! You have to keep letting him go on his own! Those were some of my favorite memories of being little, time away from Mom and Dad with family!
