Bye Lover…

He said it.  While dragging out my goodbye to my little man this morning (I’m traveling for a few days for work), he said “Bye lover”.  To me!  I guess I shouldn’t be surprised seeing that I say this to him every morning when dropping him off at school.  Yes.  I call my son lover.  Call it what you want, but he IS my lover.  I have a girlfriend who used this same word with her little boy and I remember her mom thinking she was crazy.  We both laughed and I said (before I even had my son), “but he Is your lover!”.   So this morning, my little lover said it to me.  I love him.  He melts my heart J  Oh and I miss him already…
